Road Executive Agency to Finance the Reconstruction of the Southern Archway of the Sofia Ring-Road

In the next year the Ministry of Regional Development and Public Works will start the final designing of the Southern archway of the Sofia ring-road. That was the announce which made the Minister of Regional Development and Public Works Asen Gagauzov after a meeting with the Mayor of Sofia gen. Boyko Borisov. By the end of the following year are expected to begin the reconstruction works on the widening of the road which are to complete by the end of 2007. Before that the Head of the District of Sofia has to accomplish the expropriation procedures in the area around the roadbed. The road is a priority for the Government in order to be unclogged the Southern archway of the ring-road, underlined Minister Gagauzov. The reconstruction works will be financed by the REA. After their completion the ring-road of the capital city will be 29 m wide. Gen. Borisov thanked Minister Gagauzov on behalf of Sofia Municipality for the cooperation.
