The state must support the municipalities when having this possibility, was the statement of the Minister of Regional Development and Public Works Asen Gagauzov at the opening of the new bridge over Ogosta River in Montana, which is a part of the road-bed of the international road E 79. Minister Gagauzov underlined that the construction of the road facility is an example of successful partnership between the state and the municipality. By the means of the budget of Road Executive Agency (REA) MRDPW has provided over 630 000 lv. during 2005 for the completion of the bridge. The implementation of the projects included in the document of agreement between REA and Montana Municipality will continue in the next year. It is envisaged that MRDPW ensures means for the reconstruction of the old bridge over Ogosta River, built in 1937. Montana Municipality will fulfill its engagement on the rehabilitation of the road from the bridge to the ring-road of the town. In 2005 from the REA budget have been envisaged 24 000 lv. for the development of a project for the reconstruction and reinforcement of the Ogosta River Bridge.
