The Construction of the Waste Water Treatment Plant in Dimitrovgrad begins

On 2 September 2005, Friday, the Minister of Regional Development and Public Works Asen Gagauzov will visit the town of Dimitrovgrad. Minister Gagauzov will mark the official launch of the construction works on the new waste water treatment plant in the town. He will turn the first sod of the construction site, which is funded by the ISPA Programme, the European Investment Bank and the state budget. The water treatment plant in Dimitrovgrad is one of the three plants along the Maritsa river valley, the construction of which started this year. The other two plants are in the towns of Stara Zagora and Haskovo. Later during the day, the minister Gagauzov will take part in the official meeting of the members of the Regional Association of Municipalities “Trakia” which will be held on the occasion of 58-th anniversary of the town.
