INTERREG-IPA CBC Bulgaria – the former Yugoslav Republic of Macedonia Programme 2014-2020 - Programme bodies

Managing Authority of the Programme is “Territorial Cooperation Management” Directorate General at the Ministry of Regional Development and Public Works of Bulgaria, which is responsible for managing the Programme in accordance with the principles of sound financial management.

National Authority is the Ministry of Local Self-Government of the Republic of Macedonia which cooperates with MA in joint programming, management and implementation of the Programme.

Joint Monitoring Committee reviews the overall effectiveness, quality and coherence of the implementation of all actions in order to achieve the objectives set out in the Programme. It consists of representatives of national and regional authorities and other stakeholders, including NGOs from both sides.

Joint Secretariat (established in Kystendil, Bulgaria with a Branch office in Strumica, Macedonia) provides daily help to the Managing Authority, National Authority and the Joint Monitoring Committee and assists where appropriate the Certifying Authority and Audit Authority in carrying out their respective duties. The JS also provides information and support to the beneficiaries of the Programme.
