INTERREG-IPA CBC Bulgaria – Serbia Programme 2014-2020 - Eligible Programme area

Eligible border area of the Programme covers NUTS III level or equivalent regions, located along the border between the two partnering countries:

• Districts of Vidin, Montana, Vratsa, Sofia District, Pernik and Kyustendil from Bulgarian side, and
• Districts of Bor, Zajecar, Nisava, Toplica, Pirot, Jablanica and Pčinja from Serbian side.

The eligible area covers an area of around 43 933 sq.km. or about 22% of the territory of the two countries which includes 13 administrative and territorial units with a total population of 2 144 054 inhabitants.
